Johannes Ullrichは、SANS Technology Instituteの研究部長、SANSのファカルティフェローであり、何千ものインターネットユーザーと組織に無料の分析と警告サービスを提供するInternet Storm Center（DShield.org）の創設者でもあります。また、SEC546: IPv6 Essentialsの著者、SANS SEC522: Defending Web Applications Security Essentialsの共著者であり、自身のコースやSEC503:Intrusion Detection In-Depthの講師を務めています。
